Raising Money for Cancer Research

    Hello,

    I am participating in a relay race kinda thing to raise money for Cancer Research UK. My team and I are trying to explore different ways of raising funds and I was wondering if anyone has experience in raising money for a charity online?

    We have a page for our team where people can donate money towards the cause but I'm not sure how to promote it....

    Any ideas would be appreciated :D

    I've never thought about raising charity money online but I'll give it a think and get back to you.

    How about if you are selling a product send half or all your earning to charity? or, You could possibly buy say soft drink cans at around $0.60 from the shop, sell at $1, keep the money you spent and give the rest to charity?

    Just a couple of ideas, keep at it, a very kind thing to do ;).

    Thanks thats a good idea :)

    I'm really trying to find ways of actually getting people on the internet to donate, but I'm trying to think of some way to get people to use their credit/debit cards to donate lol, I suppose I could also use PayPal but that would go to me and then to the charity. I'd prefer to get it direct to the charity if possible. Its for a good cause :D
