I don't think any one would share their best choice of niche. But you could always start on latest trends....

I would suggest you to start a site which you like the niche not every site because you get tired after some days if you're not interested in your niche. Maybe the niche that you start will be the best niche you could ever find ;). Also don't rely too much on adsense.
    Good luck

You have to find the highest paying niche first before starting a site for adsense.

No I don't think so, you have to find a niche which you can write best, not the highest paying niche. No matter how high they pay, if it is something you are not good at writing, there is still no use.

It is very true. As of now I think the best formula is the following; Your interest + Articles which people love to read + A neat blog design + Related backlinks to your blog = Good Targeted Traffic + SERPS generated traffic and what comes next is good adsense profit. Well thats for me, I can be wrong too.

It is important to find a niche that you enjoy. Also look for a niche that there is decent traffic, but also few competitors.

Listen to the people saying you need a niche that you are passionate about. If you start a website about something that you don't really care about, you'll quickly lose interest and will have wasted a lot of time. Stick with what you know, not what you think other people are making money with.

I would agree with the above posts. Adsense takes a long time and is not a get-rich-quick system so you need to find a niche that you are passionate enough about to write on for several months or years.

Don't write things that you are passionate about but be passionate about what you write.
Like if you like satan its not necessary that others like him too. Write what the crowd wants but when you write put your heart to it and never give up.

Look for something that people want to buy. Then write about it in a way that makes them interested in buying it then and there. It doesn't have to be something tangible; "bartending class" is as good a subject as "tractors" or "baby clothes" or "answering machines."

Stay away from anything free or megacheap (wallpapers, ring tones, smilies), politics, religion, or entertainment. No joke sites, no games (unless you really know the niche), no celebrities, because your customers can get what they want right on your page. If they're looking for a joke, a wallpaper, or a piece of celebrity gossip and they find it on your page, why would they click on an ad? No forums until you're experienced. All of these are niches where the PPC is so low that you need tons of traffic to get anywhere, and for a beginner, it's easier to focus on a niche that does well with low traffic.

New trends are easier to get into because the competition is lower, but we can't tell you what those niches are because by their nature, they're constantly changing. Keep your eyes and ears open, watch the news, read the technology section of the newspaper, read major blogs, see what people are doing. And remember: Look for trends that require people to BUY things. Follow the money.

Thats another great tip from DrewAnderson. Select the niche where they will click, like camera reviews.

My suggestion.... make a site or blog in any niche you like and you dont get bored writing and reading about it. Like me ...I was very much interested in Cars.... I read articles about new cars, fast and many more.... then I decided to make a site my self as a hobby... I was aware of adsense...I put ads...optimized site and now making decent earning which I never thought when I made the site and a blog.

Now about the sites I am not interested like proxy
I started them to earn some quick profit ... worked very hard for 2 months but then got bored and found traffic going low...I left them as they were... they still give me some $s but not that much as my main site gives me

Sorry for my bad English and Grammar
