There is possibly a new barbaric law coming up in Iran.

If you have converted to Islam and then iIf you leave Islam again you have to die, woman gets imprisoned on hard conditions the rest of their life.

The iranian government has already started to arrest people.

Even you don't leave Islam or don't accept it, you still have to die.

Can you provide some source about the law or its just a rumor you are spreading?

It's just a proposal, i doubt it will get through. Have you seen the amount of rediculous proposals put through in congress that don't actually make it?

Dosen't the USA's 2nd best buddy have this law already in place anyway? Saudi Arabia?

I raise the question of rumor because you posted that without any source.

On Topic: Iranians have crossed way over the line on the issue. To my knowledge apostasy sentence is renounce by the ones community and relatives (Thats the only proven punishment stated at the time of "Hudabia Pact" suggested by the Pagans of Makkah and agreed by Prophet Muhammad(p.b.u.h)) .

I'm not sure from where Iranians are getting the idea of death sentence for apostasy.

I certainly hope that the proposal doesn't go through, but with Iran I won't be surprise if it did.

Why would you not be surprised? Your anti Iran stuff sounds like the MSM before the build up to the Iraq war.

A draft Iranian law would mandate the death penalty for apostasy

Articles 225 to 227 of the draft penal code define two kinds of apostates: fetri, or an innate apostate—who has at least one Muslim parent, identifies as a Muslim after puberty, and later renounces Islam; and melli, or parental apostate—who is a non-Muslim at birth but later embraces Islam, only to renounce it again. The draft code says outright that punishment for an innate apostate is death. However, parental apostates have three days after their sentencing to recant their beliefs.

Bush is to blame for much, but not for the absurd Iranian laws proposing to kill people who turn from Islam.

According to Islamic (sharia) law apostates should be executed, Which is probably the reason why so few muslims are in here condemning this barbaric and primitive proposal.

That turn started in 1979, hard to tag Bush with that. The policy is consistent with the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran.

A complete u-turn? Not quite, that would mean then went from encouraging freedom of religion to this. That is not at all what is happening. Put the blame for these laws where it belongs, with the Iranian government that proposed it.
