Hi everyone, I am pretty new to affiliate marketing. I have seen a lot of people talking about being ebay affiliate. I found a program called "Build a Niche Store" on Clickbank. Does anyone have experience with this program? Ebay also provides many free tools that let you add the bidding items to your website. Anyone have used the ebay tools? What are the results? What is the difference between the "build a niche store" and the free ebay tools?
With BANS you have to deal with duplicate content in the search engines and everybody and their mother having already an ebay account; therefore making it extremely tough to make money as a referral. It is just a store. Not targeted enough for me.
We have been trying to build a store on Wordpress using BayRSS. Please advise on this. Hope bayRSS will help us.
If you just use eBay APi and do not add in unique contents to your BANS site, of course search engine will not love you! It isn't BANS' fault isn't it? In the past, i have earned nice commision via BANS sites. You only need the following 2 things: 1. niche with tons of buyers; 2. targetted traffic; I have a little blog in my sig below that elaborate this.
Check this thread for a free BANS type clone, it's looking good: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=836837&page=5 This is a free wordpress plugin that does ebay: http://www.thewebsiteprofessionals.com/twp-auctions/
With BANS, or any other ePN script - you MUST add your own unique content to get any organic traffic. It's not a WP plugin - but it's very easy to use in WordPress, or to incorporate into an existing site. I've released a beta of version 3 - more info here.
To create some unique content, add some topics about current issues relating to ebay. Plenty of forums you could scrape. Make the site useful, does not need to be complicated or labor intensive. Your ebay script could supply current auction bids whilst some handy hints are provided as a page filler/unique content.
This is the best free script have have found for ebay affiliate sites. Wordbay wordpress plugin gives you up to date live listing from ebay that will get index by the google bot.
Yes, the wordpress based scripts work well because search engines already love wordpress blogs... PHPbay and Datafeedr are other WP options that can work well. Remember the script is just a tool, none will get you rich without effort in keyword/niche research and promotion.
eBay is the most popular website, and their affiliate program is a killer, I mea you can make thousands er daywith them, the only concern is that you MUST be sending targeted traffic to you BANS site.
