God dammit it feels good :D

I finished the initial details on my new site, and just made it public less than 30 minutes ago, and I already got 60 views and increasing every minute!

Not bad for a half-built site!

Well those visitors came to your site by your advertisement(e.g. post, blogpost) only, what's so impressing? It's surely not from SE since you "just made it public less than 30 minutes ago" :D

No, it's not from SE, but I only submitted a link to 2 directories, or so and that took me less than 10 minutes.

I'm sorry if I offended you, but I've never had a site that gets that many visitors in such a little amount of time. Maybe I'm not the world's greatest website owner, but I have the right to be happy :)

I guess, these are your own visits :D
You did check the availability of your site, right?

If your majority traffic belongs to google, you're not far away from success. :D

Nah, these aren't my own visits. The stats program I use is designed so that it doesn't count the visits from logged in users, like me, the admin. Plus, I have it so that it doesn't count visits from my IP: that way if my brother is visiting the site, it doesn't count.

    I want real data ;)

If these are not your own visits, congrats. It sounds impossible that un 10 minutes you have 60 visitors from search engine in a completely new website. It shoudn't be even indexed!
