I don't think you can because of Registered Trademark stuff

I have many domains with wordpress in it, personally speaking don't register it as it has TM issues, but if you wanna risk it then go ahead!

Just use a disclaimer in the footer and I am sure it will be enough!

I dont believe it has any trademark issues.
What about all those who make fan sites about a serie? they must include the name of the serie to know thats what the site is gonna be about.

    (c) something*wordpress.com. This website is not affiliated in any way to wordpress.com. All rights reserved.

You don't have a TM issue unless you act as the corporation or are in the intent of deception. If the site isn't a clone of wordpress.com then there isn't an issue. And if wordpress ever does contact you complaining, then fight them like a ninja and don't back down.

This is what the OP needed :) . Well actually it's free to register any domain you desire, but to avoid misunderstanding it's better for you to state it first before you have to clean up some unnecessary mess.

Inspite of Eddy2099 giving one answer straight from WordPress?

Then again, it's easy for someone to tell a forum member what to do without
being held liable for it. It's that member's behind on the line, after all.

Up to you, Falguni. Here's another link on the subject:

    http://lorelle.wordpress.com/2006/10/26/using-wordpress-in-your-domain-name-dont/

I sincerely doubt they'll allow you to use WordPress in your domain name aside
from what eddy posted. Just stick to those guidelines they stated and you're
    likely to be fine.
