The One Reason I Hate FireFox!

Cutting and pasting with it is a lost cause. I spend a good amount of my time dealing with stats and content that I have to cut from the Internet, and paste into Word, Outlook, Excel etc. and because FF isn't a Microsoft product, it's always a pain in the ass, even with "Paste Special" and everything else they offer (some plugin that doesn't work I've tried before too).

When copying and pasting from IE it works perfect... every time!

Man I hate microsoft, but it's so annoying to have to open IE every time I need to copy and paste something, then I need to lookup the pass because I don't ever use IE ugggg.

    ;)

I've never had a problem using the copy and paste function in firefox, which version are you using and what are you trying to copy?

I copy everything from content, to adsense, analytics, web reports into excel, outlook word and at least half the time it's not formatted correctly. I'm using V 2.0.0.14

I usually just let FF give me the updates for the browser and the plugins. That way I figure they're good to go.

Maybe it is just my computer? I have weird issues with Yahoo widgets as well (that no one else has)

Ok, this drives me nuts, so here's what I'm talking about. These images are me copying and pasting from Google analytics in Firefox into Outlook (the different methods of "paste special")

And this is how pretty it looks when I copy from IE and paste into Outlook, or word, excel or any other Microsoft doc.

Yeah, it looks like somethings wrong with DP's attachments, but even from the thumbs I think you can get the picture. The two FF c&p are a jumbled mess, and the other not pasting properly.

Copying and pasting has always worked with me in FF. I pretty much never use cut because i've had bad experiences with it (it overwriting content then me not being able to get it back).

My only issues with firefox involved some of the media plugins that wouldn't work with it. Those issues seem to be mostly resolved now, can use firefox for pretty much everything.
