Rice vows to check report of Gazans who lost U.S. grants after denied exit visas by Israel

Gaza is "free" but if you want in or out you need to get permission from Israel. No wonder there's people that consider Gaza to be biggest open air prison on planet Earth.

Shame...its a shame they brought it on themselves with their aggression and sadistic minds, just proves one idiot is enough to ruin the life of a whole community...

So those students are aggressors and have sadistic minds? Is that why US wanted to gave them grants?

    Poem :
    Beloved people of Gaza

    Treasured people of Palestine
    Teachers of courage and dignity
    Archetype of humanity

    Allow me to kneel down
And wash your feet with my tears
    Kiss your blessed hands
And sprinkle your beautiful faces with musk and roses

While we sat pondering like fools
    Utterly helpless
    Talking much and doing less
Going round and round in circles
    Thinking how to help
What to offer you to relief some of your pain

    As usual
Full of surprises, you come out to our rescue, to soothe our agony
You present us with the most precious gifts
    Lessons in bravery
    Steadfastness, patience, perseverance, defiance, resilience
    Optimism against all odds
Creativity in the face of utter oblivion
You’ve demonstrated that you are the free ones … we are the captives
    You chose resistance over subjugation
You decided not to be enslaved
    Not even to superpowers

Is that can be aplied only to Palestinians or every nation on the world?
Can we generalise every nation based of what some members of those nations do?
Should we judge all Jews by acts from some of them than too?
And how do you know that asshole with suicide mission was a friend of those students? Ah yes! You live there so you know...

There was a time when I didn't worry. When I lived day to day, thinking only about myself, my friends, my family, my favorite sports teams.

Evenings I watched TV, weekends I watched movies, football and ordered pizza.

Life was simple. I took work and my income for granted.

Then I realized, that my taxes were being used to do things I wasn't comfortable with, or things that I outright disagreed with.

And since then, things have never been the same.

Introduction chapter to "The making of a revolutionary". When can i expect the rest ;):D

Gradually you will realize the futility of it. Why worry about the world when the world doesn't [mostly] worry about you [Not "you"]

    I didnt generalise anyone...

I only say that the behavior of one man can affect his all nation.

If wanting to be the best I can be is revolutionary, then I'll accept that label.

No, what I was doing before was futile and meaningless. Narcissistic self interest. Short sighted, willful ignorance.

I'm worried about the world because I have to live in it. What other people think is irrelevant. I have to answer to my own moral compass.

I think you should read once again what you wrote before shooting useless comments at people...

So who are "they"? Thread topic is about Gaza students and you've clearly said "they brought it on themselves with their aggression and sadistic minds".
Seriously, do you think before you post? :)

"They" is the Palestinian society that votes for a terrorist group committed to the destruction of Israel to be their leaders. Hamas, not only has that position, but actively attacks Israel and tries to kill Israelis and Americans. Gee, I wonder why Israel and America have a problem with Hamas and the Palestinians that support that terrorist group.

On a separate note, it is sad that these kids are not able to enjoy the benefits of their hard work due to the acts of their fellow Gazans.

Learn something about Hamas before posting your usual propaganda. It doesn't mean if AIPAC have your policians in their pockets that they have everyone else on planet Earth.
And Hamas tries to kill Americans?!? When? Where? Are you being serious? :D

That is rich. You call my words propaganda, but then go on to say how AIPAC runs the entire planet.

    You guys are funny.
