I have just installed SMF on a domain and I really love it. Now the question is what mods do you recommend in order to make it work better and become more SEO-friendly? Thanks.

If you search the SMF Mod Database you will come across a lot of modifications for SEO (e.g. SEO4SMF).

It also depends upon what your forum is about and what you are looking for. Anything in particular?

depends on what purpose the forum is for!

If you want to make revenue on the side i would definently recommend you get the ad management mod;)

    4. SMF Arcade 2.0.12

dont use seo 4 smf it is not working good with other mods.
    use ad management mod

remember donot install more than 10 mods it creates errors and makes the forum slow.
see that no mos clashes with other mod code.

it is better not to install any mod.

well SEO4SMF did need a bit of tweaking, but without it my topics weren't getting indexed, so i do HIGHLY recommend installing that mod, do it on a test account first to see if you host supports its, but if you can do it, get it done.

Thanks for your recommendations, I will check out these mods most certainly. The forum is not mine actually, I am helping a friend out with it and its a webmasters forum (you can check it out in my sig).
