in ebay partner network they are saying to migrate links?from where to where i should migrate the links?

 

CJ is ceasing its relationship with ebay at the end of this month. So you need to migrate any links that you have with CJ to EPN, (ebay partner network).

ie if you have any affiliate sites with ebay links that contain your PID you need to join the ebay partner network (just google epn) and then replace your PID based links with new links obtained from epn.

you should do this asap as any sales that may be generated after end of May with a PID based link via CJ will NOT be paid to you. Only ebay will pay you From June 1 onwards.

June 1st your CJ links will stop working so your CJ codes with codes from the partner network. You need to join EPN first ebaypartnernetwork.com then once approved you can download your new links

 

i already joined EPN.I generated links using link generator in EPN.Then why do i must migrate the links from cj?Is it compulsory?

 

The Cj links will still go to ebay but you won't get paid because the link isn't tracked after June 1st. So yes it's required if you you want to earn money

i contacted EPN they said migrating links from cj to EPN is not necessary.we can still make money by generating links in link generator.

you have to change from CJ to EPN, yes it IS compulsory. CJ will not pay you for sales anymore after June 1st.

yes, you can still use editor kit but the links MUST contain campaign ids not PIDS.

Laxmi, not sure exactly what the confusion is. If you have ANY eBay links generated when they were still via CJ, then you need to change ALL of those links so that they contain EPN "campid" not CJ PIDS.

So maybe your CJ ID was 2271410 (made up) and you inserted lots of eBay links in your sites. They will all contain PID=2271410 somewhere in them. Now you have to change ALL of those, generating new links in the eBay Partner Network, using new campaign IDs. Either that, or just replace PID=2271410 in the links with campid=5336484683 or whatever new campaign IDs you have generated.

So, step by step:

1) Find link no. 1 in your content (are you using links, or creatives, or what?), in your HTML editor, whatever.

2) Figure out what you were linking to, e.g. search results for "baby beds".

3) Go into EPN, make a new campaign ID, and then generate a new link using the link generator to "baby beds".

4) Paste that link in place of the old one.

Can't really make it simpler than that. Now, if your links were all generated manually then you have a hell of a job on your hands...

for example if a member joins EPN after may 31st and if he is not a member of cj then will he earn money from EPN?
