I have a website which i own and it is PR4.. My question is if i stop google bot to crawl my website, will the PR go back to 0 or will it stay PR4 forever? If anyone can answer, it will help me a lot. Thanks :)

PR= No. of backlinks pointing towards your website !!
I think if you will stop building links it will be Zero after some time !!

    hmmm

I guess In the next or 2nd PR update after you stop Google bot, the Pr will reduce. Cause Google can't evaluate your site as it can't access it then.

I am not sure if you will lose your page rank if you ban G bot. G will continue to index other pages on the web that link to your page and if that justifies a pagerank (whatever) you will have one. You will also see that your domain will appear as www.domain.com in search results but without a description or title.

PR = how many back links you have

I wouldn't think it would effect pr too much, as mentioned before this is a measure of links pointing at your site, but I would think it would have an effect on your actual rankings.

Ok.. but i heard that google penalizing blog who sell links. I have experienced it as well.. my signature blog was PR1 for only 8 days and then it got back to 0, which is the reason why i was asking.

if you want to sell links then it is recommended to use nofollow tag instead of blocking google bot to whole website !!

But generally people won't buy links which are having "Nofollow" Attribute.

Not generaly in 95% of cases no one going to buy these links.
