I agree that a blog could be a great idea -- but remember that if you start a blog, you need to commit to adding new content about 3 times a week. Otherwise just do articles at your website where people won't expect fresh content every week -- you can add it whenever you want. I think maybe some tips about website design, using Adsense and other things that would appeal to people starting a website -- saving and making money with websites could appeal to your audience. So not just about hosting websites, but about websites in general. You could have tips for beginners, which would be a great category and then also some tips for advanced techy type of people. I would suggest using screen shots and images to show people what to do, not just articles. People like it when things are explained to them step by step. You could also do some polls or maybe a contest -- see what the coolest site someone hosts or maybe what the best hosting deal someone gets? Some type of original contest to promote your site.
