Is there a way to run a youtube clone site where users upload adult videos without following the 2257 law? Do i have to have 2257 docs for every video i have on the site? What if i have embedded videos from other sites? How do i go about the docs then? Many sites give you their embedded code to share with others. If you share it on your site arent you responsible for the 2257 docs?
I'm not a lawyer or anything, but from what I know... if a website GIVES you their embed code then you're free to embed that on your site with no consequences. You aren't hosting the files either so there isn't much anyone can say or do to you. The most that can happen is they request for the video removal but embedding isn't illegal.
I think you should be okay if you use embtion however I would consult a lawyer and get an agreement written up for the unloaders.
Yea i think embed would be fine too just wanted to ask couple people here. Has anyone else done this? Would anyone know?
The truth here is I am not sure anyone is really sure of what they are talking about (no offense guys). I am not sure either, but would you seriously risk going to jail for something like this. Just pay a little bit of money to consult with a lawyer. You could get your answer in 15 minutes.
