I like the theme you are using..makes the blog look attractive. I'd say fill up your blogroll, add a couple of links to authority seo sites like seomoz etc. Later on you can remove them once you exchange links with other webmaster and seo sites. And yeah, the header looks somehwat empty. I'd suggest you get a header banner designed from someone at DP, really good and cheap designers here.
