Being a newbie always scarifies a lot of nerves, money and time. Few months ago, I started my new website and since then I'm trying to find really nice, talented and people who want to devote them self to the cause. I tried few methods like posts count, "i will give you this - you'll give me that"... and etc. Well, they simply don't work. I did realize it is really hard to do so, especially for such website(forum). Being a partner means not just money but trust, respect and devotion. There are a lot of pros and cons. How do I handle my situation finding the people from above is my question in here? Thank you!
scarifies? It seems like some of your problem may be the language barrier. I couldn't quite understand what you wrote in that post, there is a chance your target audience isn't understanding what you are trying to accomplish, either.
Hey ITCN, honestly nobody need your sharp'n'wise criticism about one syntax or even grammar mistake. Instead of being so Oxfordy-guy you better try help to people in DP. If you skip that typo the post express very clearly everything you need to know! Oh, actually I forgot yours is all about that post count you think you behold... Anyways, let's forget about you! And Yes guys(Sohan and Exstatic) I want to make a website team for my sig's website and post simply shows my hard time doin' it.
Well orgys work well... lolz... but really its really a matter of just approaching people. If you see someone that you might think it may be worth asking just go look wat theyve posted. If they seem friendly and hav a good record then maybe ask them to do a small job for u (paid ofcourse) and then if they are reliable ask for more and more... (all paid) and it can get to a point where you can trust them and maybe offer them a stake in your business... like they do their normal work and earn a %... more than likely paid more and they may even be able to contribute to the business in order to get more customers. But yeh... its like friendships... you will not make a best friend overnight.... same as business partners... u certainly wont get hm overnight.... and in no way send anyone large amunts of money to get them to join lol. Goodluk
lol.... if sumone asked for 1000 or sumthing to join they will take money and run... anyone in their right mind would... like i said
I've been recently trying to find a job as a web consultant/project manager. I would expect pay of course but for the first few tim es, in order to build up my portfolio, the payment would not be much. If this is what your looking for please contact me. Im extremely innovative and a hard, active worker.
If you are offering people a share of your profit, you must be sure you got this profit before you start asking people to join you. You nearly don't have an established website and people have no reason to join you instead of starting up their own forum. But find some trustable friends online (yes it is possible), and when you have gained their trust they will must likely be glad to join you.
I didn't say anything sharp and wise. You have a serious language barrier problem, and everyone who is posting here agrees as evidenced by that fact that noone understood what you were trying to accomplish. Are you looking to hire someone? Are you promoting that forum in your sig? Just what exactly are you trying to do? Please be more succint and exact and I'm sure loads of people would like to help you (I'm one of them).
itcn, please do no disrupt the post as is. i do not promote my website because this is not the right for this forum. i agree i don't speak fluently english...but nobody attacked me like you! Are you promoting your websites in your sig? pls, leave me alone I really don't need your personal opinions. nobody's perfect so i think you too... thank you.
Dude, take it easy. Noone is trying to "attack" you. Are you promoting that website in your sig? Cause it seems this entire thread was about you manufacturing some way to ask everyone on DP to visit your site and join your forum. Which I have nothing against, so take it easy. I said I (and others) would help you, just please understand your posts are difficult to read, I just asked that you make them a bit more clear and simple.
Wow...this went way off track. ITCN, I would just like to point out that "noone" is actually two words, "no one", unlike "someone" or "anyone". Getting hung up on grammar is always a waste of time because inevitably you trip over yourself in a post which really looks foolish. Move on.
I agree completely; that is why I never nitpicked any grammer or spelling ... I simply suggested bunny use clearer and more concise language so that everyone could understand him. I also wish this would get back on topic; I was trying to help the guy when he flipped out and now you're attacking me.
