It's made to be usable, accessible, and load quickly (only 1 picture) Still though, I want it to look good (could be where its lacking right now!) What do you guys think of this? Here's a link if it doesn't load above.
Looks very cool. I love the Cool Guy at the right. You can also release it on various colours. Cherry Red instead Brown! I love it
Good idea! I'll come up with a few colour schemes - with the dude on the right I'll have to make him a 24-bit PNG probably... hopefully won't be too big! The design will be fluid (stretch to screen width) so the header will be more spaced on most screens, its only a tad cramped on 800x600 resolutions. It'll be my personal blog/article & tutorial spot/portfolio Rather than make a seperate blog, article site and tutorial site, I might as well combine it with my portfolio The guy actually sorta looks like me (I have red hair and freckles!) so its fitting. Yep Matthew Rochow could do with some more whizz. The one thing I'm not happy with is the search button. Maybe its the green, I don't like the black on green, but white on that shade of green is too hard to read. I had it brown too - it blends in too much with the rest of the site though then (and it becomes rather mono-coloured)
simple and slick..but please change the color for search button..not fit with brown/dark brown..put some icon for category list and button for xhtml/css validator would be nice..anyway..the font size option + guy over there is really cool..
Any idea's for the search button? As someone said - black on green doesn't look good. I had it as a browny/red like the rest of the site, but it becomes to mono-coloured.
