Define Cloaking and Doorway pages

I want to know what are cloaking and doorway pages?, is it black hat or white hat SEO techniques?

as per my knowledge about SEO

Cloaking is: technique in which content serving SE spider different thing then human visitor.

Doorway pages is: auto generated page which is made specially for rank well in SE for particular KW,it design for SE spider that then redirect human visitor to REAL site.

& Both techniques are black hat SEO or Spam technique......

 

Cloaking: Presenting something different to visitors than the search engines. BMW got in loads of shit for cloaking text on their site in order to keep it looking 'clean' and professional, they got a harsh penalty.
