$50 Logo Contest for boating website

Hi All,

Having many success's in here before with you tallented bunch of people I am hoping I can lure you in to entering this contest.

I am after a logo that would work on a white background.

The title and strap line are as follows...

PracticalBoating.com
The essential resource for boating enthusiasts.

One idea I had was that i could have a cartoon character in a pair of dungareens painting a sailing boat or something like that?

But I am open to fresh ideas, boating people are a descerning bunch so the logo will need to logo classy and professional.

I will run this contest until the weekend and see then if it needs extending.

I think this one is the closest so far, I like the wording in particular.

 

I am extending this comp for a bit longer as it hasnt really taken off as I had hoped.

I like these, they are nice.

I think I like the first or last one.

On the first one I like the colours and the logo, I am not quite sure on the font??

Looks like a possible winner though, lets see what else comes in.
