Firefox help needed .

    Hi guy i am using windows xp , here firefox is not working from morning . I am using latest version 2.0.0.14 , but when i click on it new firefox window open and than get hanged . no process takes place and remain hanged . I have uninstalled it totalyy than stated my pc again downloaded it than also it is not working , please do tell me what to do :confused:

    try restarting usually fixes most jobs on Pc's

    He even reinstall and restarted his pc :D


    Is it possible the connection is blocked by some firewall?

    Try going to start -> run (Or the equivalent if you are running vista, it is a little different), and enter firefox http://www.google.com/

    I say google, because it is a page that is usually pretty safe. If you have another site that you prefer that is likely not to have a lot of scripting and such, then you can use it.

    Mainly what this is for is to see if the problem is a general stability problem with your firefox install, or if firefox just doesn't like your home page.

    its not that
    if it would have been firewall than it would show
    server not found
    but it should start and it should work with offline fileseven if firewall blocks

    i normally restart my computer and usually it works fine again. try it again later or tomorrow and uninstalling firefox and reinstall it again.
