    I am not at all inspired by the Indians in the list as they all seem to have inherited their wealth. Most of us could probably also be on that list if we inherited a couple of billion. Also one of the Ambani is buyilding a $2 Billion house and Mittal seems to spend fortunes on weddings and mansions. Not at all inspriing in my view. On another note, if you combine the Ambani brothers wealth, it would still be significantly less than the combine wealth of the Walton family (Walmart).

    Yes there are rich people in the Middle East, but the richest amongst them are King's and Princes as oil production is state controlled. So it is really not their wealth at all, it belongs to their State. Yes there are exceptions (Bin Talal), but their wealth is not directly related to oil.

    Do you know who is really the richest person in the world? You Are!
    Would you sell both your legs for $100 Billion? If your answer is No, then you are worth more than $100 Billion, which makes you the richest person on earth :)
