Need Hosting Urgently | Unmetered BW | 10gb of space | 99% Up

Hi everyone,

Well I need a good host! I want to host my wordpress blog/portfolio of Nokia Themes in your servers. I am licensed theme developer for Symbian and have a PR6 site which I really care about! It does get a lotta traffic. So bandwidth is a real issue! My Alexa rank is in the 50,000.

My entire site's size currently is 1.1gb, and I dont think in years to come it will ever topple 10gb! My files are generally much less than 5mb in size, however there are around 10 files which are around 30mb at max. I use a caching plugin in wordpress which serves the php site like html so mysql usage wont be an issue either. I want a solid host, someone who won't meter my bandwidth at all.

Also, keep in mind that you have to transfer my site to your server, I have a backup already generated and I am on a dial up, so its not possible for me to transfer the files. Otherwise I would honestly set it up myself. It shouldnt be that hard cause as much as I know, you will be doing a server to server transfer anyway.

However, if your server is anyway connected to the stupid servergroup then dont bother! If you are a reseller from marvservices, then dont bother either.

How to throw your offers here?

Please give your server specs, the cpu details, your bandwidth port (100mbps or not etc) and the details of your RAM.. and how much time it will take you to set/restore my site up in your server and how much it will cost me per month. If possible, if you offer a reseller how much will that cost with the same specs.

Please dont post here saying here are the offers in this thread and stuff, or take a look here or PM me for info or stuff like you need a vps/dedi so take a look here. I didnt ask for too much info, just the price, and the cpu/ram details. So come on now, dont be lazy!! I will reply to every single post made!

I need this quite urgently cause I dont wanna get penalized by Google for server issues anymore. So be quick! You will be preferred if you have been in the hosting business publicly for more than 6 months!

It looks like your site will put a heavy load on a website. The best thing you can do is get a VPS or a Dedicated Server... A shared hosting environment for $10/mo just wont cut it. ALthough i'm sure there will be plenty of people who will offer you their services...

they have a grid achitecture and its only $20 / mth with huge 1 TB bandwidth and 100 GB storage etc, sorry I cant include a link here as I am new to DP so no linking allowed in my posts its at mediatemple DOT net.

I suggest you get a dedicated/VPS It's probably better if you don't want to get suspended

Thanks a lot for the recommendation speedy and cameron. Problem is, someone else will pay and not me and he won't pay so much for vps or a dedicated. My site won't put heavy load on the server, I can assure you that. However like I said, bandwidth is an issue. So if you have an unmetered 100mbps port on a server then hosting my site won't be a problem at all as all the downloads of my site, 99% is around 1mb-4mb. So server load due to downloads won't really be an issue. I agree though, if I had a video hosting site then dedi is the only solution.

 

Preferably unmetered Orien. As in *unmetered*!

Well, you can get VPS from $6 now so that shouldn't be a problem

Well bro, the maximum I ever used in a month without interruption was 400gb. This month I ran out of bandwidth and its supposed to be unmetered. It shows i only used 250gb. Grr!

I can bro? Lol. A vps for $6? Anyway, prob is I never used a vps and am used to cpanel. I have a budget in mind, which is around $10 a month.
Here how it is honestly. I'm very good with seo and flash/html based webdesigning, creative designing like logos/banners, well I hope so. I have a friend who's seo I'll take care and he in return will provide me hosting. Though he will provide me hosting without the seo but still its like a unofficial deal. I don't have a paypal so thats a big problem.

 

MediaTemple isn't a true 'grid' provider. Don't get sucked into their marketing.

If we had paypal I would buy me a hosting company by now I swear lol. No I can't bro cause its not my money, however I'll try to talk to him and see if anything can be done. Problem is till then my site will be down n out which I truly hate to see
