hi is adsense tracker still working ok.It is still showing all the domains and traffic and click for adlink but not the others.and yes i am still getting clicks lol any ideas
Hi sorry will try again have a adsense tracker script put on a few of my adsense sites some time ago adsense gold a think it always worked well but i have not used it for some time it is still showing all the info and clicks made to the adlinks ads but not the other ads.i know it sounds daft as it all still looks to be working .just wondering if something new has stopped it running ok.
The code for the other ads was changed by Google, so that now you can only track the link units and that pretty much is just tracking what link unit term was clicked on, not what site the visitor ultimately went to.
@adpubster : do you have any idea for the more powerfull adsense tracker ?. just wanna some suggestion from somebody pro here ... I use Asrep now ..
As far as I know there is nothing out there now that will give you the info that you were able to get. You used to be able to get the url of the ad that was clicked on, but after Google changed the code for security reasons this feature has not been possible. For tracking clicks and seeing what pages on your site people click ads on, Asrep is probably as good as any other. Most of the trackers had inherent problems in them in detecting when a click was made since special coding had to be done for certain browsers so some of it was guess work which is why none of the trackers were as accurate as setting up channels in Google. I use my own script (just basically a variant of a few others out there) in combination with channels and Google Analytics and that's probably about as much as you can get.
