I joined lots of auto-surf sites and getting lots of hits to my sites but i get hardly any sales. I also joined some really big safelists but they too does not produce any sales. My best marketing effort comes from Yahoo groups but that too is nothing to shout about; the best result I get is 2-3 sales daily, but normally average only about 10-20 sales per month. Anyway all my marketing is free, so it is ok. But I think I should get better results if I use paid ads, but I don't want to waste money on non-effective ads, so anyone get good results and profitable as well from paid ads ? Also anyone have success with free ads ?
Umm so your problem is you don't get enough sales? I'm trying to get problems I can write articles about to help people out
Measuring ROI, for both branding and conversions/sales. Especially when it comes to offline marketing.
The most difficult in the Internet Marketing is find a good niche. Well, at least for me. But once you got the niche... it's much easier from there
Thank-you everyone these topics are great I'll be starting to write some posts in the morning when I get up keep them coming
Okay I have started writing the blog posts I will be publishing them throughout the next week. Anyone else care to contribute?
The #1 problem any marketer who is looking for advice will face is: "How can I find more buyers," Finding buyers and selling to them is all that matters. If you have subscribers that do not buy you won't make money. If you don't have enough buyers to turn a profit your business will not succeed. Every business wants more buyers. Businesses that do not want more buyers often have infrastructure that cannot handle more growth. People with this sort of infrastructure in their businesses seldom get wealthy because they cannot serve a huge number of buyers.
My biggest problem is trying to figure out Google, in terms of getting natural listings. I think a site is doing okay and it's getting to page 1, etc., but then it goes away. Maybe a couple of weeks later it's back but I have no way to tell exactly what I did to make it happen - or even if I did anything at all! I would love to be a "fly on the wall" at Google, Inc. so I could tell what the heck was going on!
Well Loren, I kind of agree a little bit, but if you chase buyers they are only going to run away. You have to position yourself more as an expert so your leads will be attracted to you, they will want to know what your doing. I know it seems a bit stupid, people actually chasing you down to buy whatever your selling, but it works for me. tonyab: I have no idea with your Google theory but it really depends on the kind of content you provided if Google think it is beneficial to everyone your website will stay ranked up within the first couple of pages. If you want to actually check what that has done for you I suggest that you run some google analytics campaigns on your websites Thank-you everyone for your contributions, keep them coming please
Staying dedicated to one idea till it’s working before moving to the next big thing was a massive problem for a long time. Not as much now but can still get distracted to easy.focus is the only way to win
I agree I used to be the same, but I realized if I just kept on moving onto different things I would never have finished anything. And shelley, thanks for the spam.NOT
Problems: 1.Choosing appropriate and profitable niches 2.Backlinks from high PR sites 3.Content is usually the same... 4.finding client audience
writing effective ads, how much money to spend on advertising and where to spend prudently so that you get the best results.
Me too. I have a really short attention span so I tend to give up on stuff too soon if I don't see immediate results. But I do understand the need to be persistent with marketing strategies and content. Converting visits to sales is probably my #2 issue.
