Selling a niche content site with well-written content

Alright, this is the site I am selling: www.samuraiweapons.org

The site has loads of content on samurai warriors, their weapons, armors and other stuff.

Some features of the site would be:

    * Lots of unique(copyscape passed), informative, keyword-rich and well-written content.

    * Beautiful, appealing design with a custom made header.

    * Keyword domain.

    * Good keywords with little competition that many people search for.
Each keyword phrase such as samurai swords, samurai weapons, samurai armor, female samurai, samurai champloo etc are searched for atleast 300 times a day.

    * Great monetization possibilities with ebay auctions (besides adsense, of course). There are lots of people selling antique and replica samurai stuff on ebay.

Take a look at the website and you will know that this is one place that both the search engines and your visitors will enjoy being at. This is not some crappy niche content site that I put together in 30 mins with some half-baked articles.

    Here are the rules:

    Starting bid: $35
    Min increments: $5
    BIN: $90

The site is regged at namecheap.com, so domain push is for free.

Site goes to highest bidder or to the first one to quote at the BIN price.

And of course, I reserve the right to keep the website for myself if, at any point of time, I don't feel like giving it away. Also, the winner will send across payment within 24 hrs or we don't have a deal and the next highest bidder wins.

Thats it. Do let me know your bid.

And thank you for your time.:)

It's a good website with good design, neat pleasing colours and good content and I believe it really is worth more than $35. So as an added incentivem I hereby offer to host the website for free for a duration of 3 month's on my own cPanel, in case hosting should ever be a problem for you.

Wat say? So get going with the bids guys!

I am fairly new to DP but if you start your bidding at $35 and Spencer bid that then he should get the site for $35. Sorry just my two cents. I actually was interested in bidding but didn't like the fact that you have to think about taking his bid if it's the only one.

    thanks for looking in, domainsubway.

This is the first time I am selling anythin on DP and I think made a mistake with the starting bid. Its a good site and I was banking on more bids coming in. Also I should have PMed Will, rather than mentioning it on the thread. My mistake...and I have learned from it....

Also, expecting such a situation beforehand, I have clearly mentioned in my first post about me having the rights to keep the site for myself in case I was not happy with the price.

Anyway, next time I'll be more careful....and thanks for the lesson...

Also, feel free to join the bidding :)

    Best of Luck n Cheers!

Also, to let you and the others know, I've received another offer(other than datguru's) via PM for $40. So you might want to increase your bid, datguru.

    $50 nyone?

My bid has been withdrawn as it was a BIN bid of $40 that was not to be made public and not an offer! So your the highest!
