adbrite reviews?

what are your reviews with adbrite? They're not one of those companies that use bots to charge you for clicks or make it look like you're getting traffic? I heard that about Miva so stopped using their services.

I have joined the AdBrite market place some time ago. As I have recently noticed, that they have removed my website PIXEL TEMPLATES (Category: Arts & Entertainment > Visual Arts) from their site directory. That doesn’t make any sense . Thus, advertisers will never find my website in AdBrite's advertising directory. Which is the basic concept and idea of this advertising marketplace. So, it is getting difficult for me as a publisher to reach potential advertisers. Until now, I have not received any response from AdBrite on this concern. I believe they fear I would get too many free leads from people browsing their site directory. Secondly, AdBrite does no longer display any ads on my website. This said, their slogan “Monetize your website with AdBrite” does not apply.

Due to security relevant reasons I have disabled the Auto-Approval function for AdBrite's network ads at the present time. As I have read in a french article, AdBrite's ad zones can be misused to exploit spyware, viruses and trojans. It is recommended to disable the "auto-approve" function for network ads. Publishers can still approve or reject ads manually through AdBrite's interface. The article can be found under the following address:

I can strongly recommend for advertisers to check and re-check in regular intervals the websites on which he or she has bought flat-rate ads. Make sure your purchased ad appears on the publisher's website. Make a screenshot if necessary.

Secondly, using Google Analytics can help you to distinguish "real" traffic from "fake" traffic you are receiving through ads purchased on the AdBrite marketplace. Do not always trust the click statistics you see on the AdBrite interface. Several websites generate fake traffic to entice advertisers to buy more ads on the publisher's website.

And yes, it’s true. Their Site Directory contains a lot of junk, fake and adult websites. I am wondering why AdBrite is accepting so many junk sites in their network at all. However, if more and more interesting blog sites and informative websites will jump-in, this could become an interesting alternative to Google, Yahoo and other CPC advertising systems.

I especially like the idea of flat rate ads and CPM ads, since the thread of click fraud is non-existent for these types of advertising. Being able to define your own pricing structure as a website owner and publisher is a much more liberal approach and makes this marketplace more dynamic and transparent than other advertising platforms.

I am using them have been paid once. It is hard to earn from them!

 

The reason it is hard to earn from them is because of the quaity of traffic they market your sites to. Most are not there to click ads, they are there to look at media or watch porn.

 

There ads are not geared to good to the content of your site. Like adsense does. So I think Adbrite is only good if your using them for people to pay weekley or monthly to advertise on your site regardless of how many clicks you send them.

 

Adbrite is good for high traffic sites. They seem to pay on time and are open to many publishers. Too bad they aren't contextual; they have faster responding customer support than Google or YPN.

 

They get really good high marks for their support arm. The few times I had issues with payments they were very cordial and helpful.

 

not to all, they had been lazy with me, irrlevant answers... no answers to unconfortable for them questions...

 

i can say i love adbrite adds.
though they dont look stylish or eye catchy but u can approve or reject adds, this is equal to a alot.
i have approve ads which gives me 2 to 5 dollors per click and i m quite successfull

When one of my websites had a traffic surge, I was making very good money with AdBrite. But, their support really REALLY sucks. I would have to wait up to a week for an answer sometimes, or have to call numerous times just to get a simple $1 refund. The quality of their traffic is ok, but I have recently started using AdEngage and are much happier with the traffic, customer support, and experience. I am hardly using AdBrite anymore since starting AdEngage and I doubt I will use AdBrite at all in the future because they turned me off so much with their support....

 

Puke, thats all that comes to mind when I hear or read about that website.

 

AdBrite is great! The only bad thing about them is their support who takes around 24-48 hours to respond.

Ohh and they are not contextual!

 

i got money from them twice. they have a fast support.

I was using them but then again i didnt feel safe but there was another site just like adbrite called blacklabeledads, or something, now they do the adult advertising which i find stupid and thats what makes most websites have bad ratings except for a few but eh

 

I am also using adbrite.but this is good for high traffic websites.

 

Pay-per-Click is a very nice idea to allow people use your software. It increases the number of customers and people hasnot to pay the whole amount of the software.
