Domain already registerd .com and .net can i register .info

    hi,

    i would like to register a domain but i noticed that someone else has already taken the .com and .net can i take the .info? am i gonna be in trouble?
    Im not talking about brand names its something like www_bestdeal_info, i know that i cannot take a www_google_info

    If it's not infringing on a TM then it's fine.

    Then there's no issues. Ownership of .com does not give you rights to other extensions :D

    You might have an issue telling people your site name (because most people automatically add .com's to domain names in their mind, tell them mysite.info and a few hours later there's a chance they'll remember it as mysite.com which can be confusing if mysite.com actually exists), but other than that if it's not a trademark then you should be fine.
