I understand that article writing is a great way to build links. However, I'm really not good at writing articles. Any other effective ways to build links to my site? Thank you!
Aside from link exchanges and buying links, you could put your link in your signature on forums such as this one. Seems to be the cool thing to do around here. Most of us post on webmaster forums everyday anyway, why not get some free advertising out of it.
If you do not want to do article submissions, you can also build links through directory submission, blog postings, and pay per post. But article submissions may be the cheapest method of building high quality backlinks.
I use articles, forums, social bookmarking - you name it I do it - just good to get some links out there!
After you've done the easy link building techniques start contacting webmasters and asking them for a link. Tell them why your content would be valuable to their visitors.
Apart from articles you can do the following Blog posting : do post some good comments otherwise u will be considered as a spam Directory submission : the best way is manual submission or semi automatic submission Buy a article Trade links Social Bookmarking Hope it helps Cheers Abhishek
I found this resource to be quite valuable since there are places mentioned in this blog (American Towns, or "Help.com") that I don't see in other blogs or forums.
Have you considered hiring a writer if you are not good, I hire a English college major for 10 bucks an hour. She can whip out a new article for about 7 bucks.
