For the people that how successful adsense sites, do you build it manually? Do you use templates? Do you use content management systems? Thank You
i know html, css, and photoshop. I'm not very good with them either, just know the basics. I dont know php though. i'll start reading up on php. is it difficult?
You'll want to become good with them. Self taught programmers are typically some of the richest people in America. Majority of big privately owned websites were created by some average joe who knew css+php. Even if you never create your own site, if you get good at it, there are plenty of companies who would hire you. It's not rocket science, but it does require some effort.
I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't know you could build sites with photoshop. I've been working with photoshop for years with video editing and that is new to me. Thanks,
For large sites, with hundreds / thousands of pages, you will have to use a database driven content management system. If you want a simple site with just a few pages, use html. But once you start getting dozens of pages, you will regret not going with a CMS to start with. So unless you know for a fact that you will never grow past a few pages (unlikey), go with a CMS. By going with a CMS to start with, you will be able to grow faster and easier then if you want with a basic HTML site. Using a good quality CMS to start with also allows you to plug add-ons like a forum or a picture gallery into it later. I have a few basic html sites, a couple of wordpress sites and a couple of Vbulletin forums. I am in the process of migrating all of my html sites to wordpress.
Many people are stuck trying to build Adsense sites placing content in a second instance when Adsense is just a way to monetize by placing ads conveniently into your rich-content site properly promote
Or you could get a host with Fantastico. Then you will have many cms platforms, forums and other programs at your disposal. Then you install and familiarize yourself with different ones to see what they do. For some folk this might be limited but for me, I love it when I can install wordpress in about 3 clicks of the mouse.
there's several tools you able to use like macromedia dreamweaver and microsoft frontpage, or just simply install wordpress.
I think no matter which language or software you are going to use, the point is to make a good looking and professional website that will attract people to come.
I don't know, I don't really consider any of my sites a successful "adsense" site I don't even like putting ads on my sites..lol
