I'm Not Getting Any Impressions

I took a break from Adwords for a couple of months and paused a few campaigns that were getting impressions and clicks. Now I have unpaused one of them and set up a new one with a $50 a day budget and a high enough minimum bid that my keywords are active and ranking in the 1-4 position.

There is nothing to tell me that something is wrong with my campaign as far as bids, budget and I know the keywords get traffic, becuase I ran a campaign in the past with them.

It's been 3 days and still no activity.

Is it possible it is still in review? I have checked billing, the date on the stats meter and any possible reason for why it might not be running.

It seems a lot of people are having this issue as I read around on different forums and in the Google help menu.

Has Adwords made some serious changes recently that is making it harder to run campaigns or are they just overwhelmed with customers and can't keep up?

Are the domains that you are displaying in your ad and the domains that you are sending people to the same?

That was a change about a month ago that stopped a lot of ads working.

Yeah it's that same domain, but with a tracking link, and it redirects to the same dispaly url.

Wouldn't they disable my ad if there was a problem with the URL?

Also, in addition to what mikesed said, if they are manually reviewing your campaign, they won't do it over the weekend.

I thought that it automatically runs and when they review it is when they disable ads or keywords.

If you changed the destination URL, it's awaiting review.

With active accounts, changing the destination URL wouldn't take the ad off line to await review. The ad will stay online while awaiting review. With new or inactive accounts like yours, a change of the destination URL will result with the ad being taken off line while awaiting review.

I don't get it.. everytime I create a new campaign it starts sending traffic imediately.. no matter if the url is the same or not.. within few hours I already have impressions(not clicks too :) but at least I'm getting impressions :D )
