I own a couple of arcade website and I'm currently registered under www.startlogic.com but my websites are slow or down all the time. I contacted support several times and they did nothing so i'm looking for a new hosting company. I would need it to be fast and reliable. Chat support would be a big plus. I'm willing to pay up to $50/month max.

Any hosting company you would suggest?

    Thanks!

The most important what is your space and bandwidth requirements etc? If you can give more information, it would be easier for members to give suggestions.

You should also check out http://www.webhostingtalk.com for recommendations on hosts and check out their "offers" section where you will see a number of hosting deals from various providers.

Web Hosting Talk would be a great place to find out valid experiences about the various hosts which is good for comparison.

I noticed similar problems with sites being down on valueweb and gate servers last few days. I highly recommend hostgator especially if chat support is one of your requirements. Go to their site and click on 'chat' support right now before you even sign up. You'll see how quick they respond. The downfall is that they do not offer 'windows' hosting unless you have a dedicated server.

    I use http://www.MochaHost.com

I went to them because they were really cheap. But they have worked amazing. My sites always up, they got great support and they are realy easy to upgrade your account at a low cost.
