How can i move phpld2.1 directory to new server?

    How can i move phpld2.1 directory to new server?

    backup the database and all files,
    update the name server info.

    Use phpmyadmin and reinstall script on new server.

    And if you have any trouble uploading the database on the new server just use bigdump http://www.ozerov.de/bigdump.php

    Because doing it through phpmyadmin always timed out for me.

    Yes, bigdump is good for large databases, I had used for a forum. phpmyadmin is OK for small databases .

    If you have cpanel, just backup and restore everything. The main issue will be the database, you will need to modify the config.php

    I even needed it for 2 tiny db's, i tried a number of times and i just couldn't get it to complete before timing out so had to go for bigdump, and it took a fraction of a second then. :)

    I did it once. Just install the phpld directory script in the new server first, and then export the data from the 2 table only contains the links and categories, and import the data into the same 2 tables in the new server. Just export the data with the file type of .csv, it's very easy.
