I won some cheap item on auction on e-bay! I paid already all price (price+ shipping)! Seller was refunded my payment and now asking me for another 20$ to ship item to my country! Before was price for shipping was 4$ and says worldwide (seller is from US), now is 24$ for my country(at least unfair)! What should I do, because I'm quite new on e-bay? Do I must pay this price or not? Pls, moderators if this is not right thread, can you remove!
It's not thure i know well from before that can not be 24$, this seller just want to make profit because the auction wasn't well for him! And I sad before was price 4$ wordlwide (now after refunded my paymets he was changed shipping price)............. What will happen if I don't pay him for this (I have about 20 100% positive feedbacks)!?
I have not sold on ebay in several years, but I do not beleive that the seller can ask for additonal shipping fees if he included the price of shipping to all locations in his listing. You may be able to file a dispute against him for doing that, or at least contact ebay to see what they suggest. The best way to handle this though, is likely to contact the seller to try to work it out. If he has 100% good feedback he probably will not want to risk getting a negative feedback from you either, so it may be possible that he will live up to his end of the bargain.
I was contact seller but no response (today again)! I will wait one more day, then I will pay and report him to ebay and of corse give him negative feedback! And is new on e-bay if buyer pay for item seller can not give him negative feedback!
I was not aware of that new policy. Sounds like leaving the negative feedback is worth the extra cost, as the seller is obviously not playing fair. It was his fault he included the flat worldwide shipping rates in his listing, so he should have to live up to it.
Agreed; and yes, there's been a new policy that states that sellers cannot give negative feedback to buyers.
Yeah, I've sold quite a bit on Ebay off and on, the new policies totally suck and I've not even considered listing anything since they came into effect. I've never had a problem like this, but I do agree with RaptorX. I'm about 100% sure that if the shipping was plainly stated in the auction the seller can not change it. Of course, with all the new changes at Ebay, it's hard telling what people are allowed to do now. I'd definitely contact Ebay if you don't hear back from the seller soon. I'd actually probably go ahead and contact them anyway, to find out what rights you have since the shipping was raised.
Thanks for answers guys, I will wait a two more days (if rely seller have problems(I seen on TV some orkans on US), but then will contact e-bay!
