Paypal Funds to Icici Bank Not received even after 7 days

paypal was having some techinical problem with there system from the last 3 weeks.... but now the problems are fixed and paypal is working fine now.... but i use Xoom to withdraw my paypal money directly to my bank.... i did it twice this month and both the time i get my money inside my account after 4th day.... so i only use Xoom.com to withdraw my paypal money to my back account.... and at xoom i never had any problem.... but the only thing is that your account should be verified paypal... and you cannot select the option Pickup when sending your paypal to your bank using Xoom.....

 

Checked Today. Still Nothing...

yeah! I also requested two transfers one on 15 n another on 16th i got the withdrawl i requested on 15th by the 17 th but i am still waiting for the withdrawl i requested on 16th :-(
I hv a HDFC bank account. i usually get payments in 1-2 days

Most of us are in the same boat. I guess the instruction for withdrawals on 15th and 16th through Paypal has this problem.

I guess this should be over in another 3-4 days looking at what Paypal has written to kks_krishna. The message shows the amount has been transferred on May 22 so we should be receiving in by this Tuesday/Wednesday.

No need to panic at this stage I guess. And yes! even if the money is not received for some reason ( I hope not), it will be still refunded to our PP account, (after some deduction of nominal fees) it cannot vanish in thin air..... human mind has no limit to imaginations..

As we can see lot of us are having the same problem, thank god no body is scammed!!!

I made a withdraw using My Paypal account to my ICICI bank account lets see what happens i was planning to use XOOM but then i thought i can check if it works properly or problem is still there

 

Oh gosh!!! i wasnt using DP for a long time but this withdrawal in paypal even i havent received funds, in my HDFC bank account. I generally do within 7 days but this time not i have not received.

I withdrew $800 funds in a verified account which i am using for past 7 months. Bank staff is saying they dont have anything to do with it.

Have given mail to paypal but no reply as of now. I will be in trouble if it is messed....Suggestions any

 

I thought HDFC is reliable for fast paypal-INR transfers,looks like problem is from Indian banks side.

 

Seems problems are only with withdrawal requests that are made on 15th and 16th May. Because two withdrawals made after that day is already transfered to my account.

 

I thought I was the only one facing this problem - its good to know this seems to be a universal issue. (You know how it is - if the power goes off in your house, the first thing you do is look at other houses to see if power has gone off there as well! If it has, then all is well, else you have to run around to figure out what is wrong!

I requested a transfer from Paypal to my SBI account on 15 May - no funds in sight in my SBI account till now. And normally I always receive funds in my account in 2 working days.

Oh well, I guess we will have to wait for another 2-4 days. If the money is not received by then, will have to shoot off a mail to Paypal...

Chillax guys. Looks like the problem is not with the bank, since the problem is being noticed across banks. My best guess is that the problem is either with Paypal or Citibank (which converts dollars to rupees and processes the paypal transaction)

 

I withdrew $1500 on May14th to my ICICI and not credited to my account until now, just got a reply from paypal...

My local ICICI branch manager knew nothing about paypal!! oh paypal sucks this time...

 

This doesn't look good.

Maybe you can ask Paypal for a transaction reference number of some sort (not the unique transaction ID they show you after you do a transaction). That might help you follow up with ICICI.

This reference number might need to be obtained by Paypal from Citibank, if Citibank is the local processing bank for Paypal.

And maybe the rest of us need to start following up with Paypal.

Just now (at 3:20 Pm) received SMS Alert from ICICI Bank that my account has been credited with funds from PAYPAL.
After 12 days.

 

Yep same here. Just got the sms that i received my payment from paypal.....Finally!
