1 million arabs live within the pre-1948 Israel.

Can the Israelis continue to live in the West Bank in the historic land of Abraham without being attacked?

I do not believe they can. islam is not conducive to peace. Hamas (the group many support here) has openly declared it's objective is to destroy Israel. In their minds, killing a Jew is a way to paradise.

I seriously doubt it without serious changes in the mindsets of the arabs. Take for eg Gtech point out Hamas, if I remembered correctly their constitution had a clause calling for the destruction of Israel, a lot have to be done to fulfil the Saudi proposal and it is certainly a monstrous task to unit the Arabs towards this.

Hamas is in charge in Gaza, you can't keep claiming the bull that it is just a few militants - It is the elected government that sends rockets into Israel daily. The so called 'innocent civilians' voted for Hamas. They are not innocent, they voted terrorists into power and allow them to attack Israel in their name.

I think the Israelis have to be stupid to accept the deal considering what happened after the Gaza withdrawl and the 1947, 1956, 1967 and 1973 wars.

Additionally the PLO, Hamas and Hezbollah have been constantly attacking Israel and there is no guarantee that the attacks will stop.

And Israelis definitely aren't stupid :), the Saudi proposal would be a tough sell, unless there are a lot of safeguards put in place and unless USA exert enough pressure on Israel to compromise.

Could someone answer the question of "Why should Israel have to return land that was gained as a result of wars started by those Arab nations?".

A better question IMO, is why does Israel get it's own state, when there was never a Jewish state in the past?

    Another historical rabbit hole.

The shouldn't have to. After all, many of those same people are against islamic countries in the region doing the very same thing.

islam was spread throughout this region through violent wars of conquest. If anyone should be surrendering land, it ought to be islam, who forcefully took these lands and still occupy them today.

When in history was there an Iraq, or a Saudi Arabia. Why don't we just give back the middle east to Italy. Since it was their land under during the roman empire.

Which is my point. I mean, the irony of arguing for original title of land, in a settler country is pretty bizarre.

Or better yet, if historical rights don't matter, why ask for the land of any existing country?

I think this is something that involves international laws, any experts in this area care to clarify the ownership of land issues? At least for me, it is far beyond my knowledge.

this is another step toward peace.the fact is that not all people are going to be happy about this but it is better when extremists loose and peace prevails.

as far as why Israel giving some land back, it is because these lands come with it's population and i do not think Israel wants to annex them and add these people to their population. That is the iranian plan.correct me on this if i am wrong on this.

if these are your feelings about islam and Muslims, I wonder why are you interested in making offers for them to make money here:

required People from kuwait uae saudi arab oman only

but thats not the point, money can make materialistic people give up their principles, if they have any, and if you are one of these people,

the point, what do you know about Islam, is youtube your only source of info about Islam and Muslims?
