Since that advertiser terminated my affiliation with them I thought I can share how you can make a quick $$ with CJ. Find PalTalk on CJ and join their program. PalTalk offers a video chat and a business conferencing. Use the video chat banners. They pay $3 per sign up and I think it's $10 if someone subscribes as a member. Cash flows in like crazy. But you have to use your own website to advertise them. That's what I did initially. But then I advertised them directly on PPC (Adwords) and PalTalk didn't like it because I made a good income on them. Their terms of use really isn't clear about PPC but they said I was breaking their terms and terminated the affiliation. I made over $12.000 over 4 months just on them. Anyway if you have a good traffic on your site or if you want to drive traffic to your website with AdWords advertising their video chat you can make a nice flow of cash.
Is there anything that advertisers or CJ can do if they've already paid you the money, but then decide you didn't something against their terms? (i.e. requesting the money back)
The interesting thing is AdWords puts your ads out at as low as 1-3 cents with PalTalk. Banner ads worked best for me. You can take the PalTalks banners on CJ and use them on AdWords.
I do not think so. Their chat is similar to any other IM chats (Yahoo and so on). I know for sure that with their video conferencing you do not install anything. You do it via their own software online.
They paid me everything I earned except the 5-6 days after the affiliation was terminated. Also I forgot to mention their incentive is HUGE.
Just one more thing. You can advertise them directly on AdWords (meaning driving traffic directly to PalTalk's landing page) if you advertise them in the US only. My mistake was I promoted them all over the world. But like I said I didn't realize that advertising in the US only was enforced. However, if you drive traffic to your own website with PalTalk on it there are no limitations.
You made over 12 grand just from that? Wow that is really amazing Brovs. I wish I could do something like that. I am going to write list of good ideas like this one and when I get a chance try to implement some of them. Thanks for the post.
That's the problem - US traffic for PalTalk's niche can cost up to 4-5 times more per conversion than international traffic on Google.
It is still worth it. I am only talking about getting on Google network not Google search. Banner ads will start showing at as low as 3 cents for PalTalk. 5-7 cents will make them go out at a high rate. I would say on every 70 cents - $1 you spend you can make $3 back (which will everage in $2 dollars of profit).
