#1 on MSN - #39 on Yahoo - N/A on Google!?!?

I have a website that ranks in search results

    #1 on MSN

    #39 on Yahoo

    N/A on Google

When putting my website into google search directly I get 400 results so I know my links are being followed and indexed..

Any ideas on why no google ranking? I'm sure others have had this issue before. Some link directory SEO has been done, thats just about it.

Start by submitting your site to Google and upload a sitemap using GWT.

Yeah i was thinking the same thing, that google works differently with how they rank websites.

The thing about my website, its video related to a specific niche, its a dump site..

But there isn't a whole lot of content.

I'm working on getting a new design done, gonna do the site map deal as well. BTW, is GWT "Google Web Toolkit"?

Couldn't I just use http://sitemapr.us/ , not sure if thats what most webmasters use for a sitemap, but I had it bookmarked previously for future use.

Google pays more attention to offpage optimization. Yahoo on the contrary prefer onpage optimization.
That said, try to get as many related backlinks with the right anchor text as possible.

Hi there... First of all (GWT = Google Webmaster Tools) and to rank on Google you need to add value to your own website by having related content on your pages and then get a lot of links pointing to your site with your targeted anchor text, then loop back and keep doing it as much as you can :)
Start with directory / article submission it's free and helpful as a start, good luck.

Yes, GWT is Google Webmaster Tool. I also recommend you use CMS to develop your site. It's a simple way to develop content in a short period of time and easy to edit.
    Good Luck
