I signed up on Google adwords, for Boston Real Estate keywords, and noticed I got around $200 worth of garbage clicks, where people were only on the site for 0.00 seconds.... from "BAD" countries such as: Egypt Russia Romania No offense to those countries, but cmon now..... everyone with a computer must be scamming something What im saying is, If you use google adwords --- you might want to turn off the ads on content pages..... because these people are obviously clicking their own pages to get hits and adsense $$
Rather than turning off the ads on content pages, you should block the countries where you receive the fake clicks from. AdWords has the option to select the targeted countries.
Of course, people in every country would do it --- but when you see 3 scamming gypsy countries clicking your links you know something is up!!
just limit your ads to show only in Boston area or in Massachusetts. that way visitors from other countires wont even see you ad. . .. and dont get upset at "gypsy countries" they have to eat too
Boston Real Estate keywords why are you promoting to egypt and russia and romania Also you should have content network off in the start, also keep in mind some people make a ton of cash on the content network, you should also split test your landing pages and ads to see what gets you a higher ctr. There are tons of variables when it comes to adwords good luck
I took off the content pages -- I need to advertise in other countries because of all the foreigners moving here. Hey kudos to the Gypsies they're in a new millenium now they must be havin a blast with the internet!
Its more about bad set up than click fraud buddy, nonetheless have you installed Analytics and checked drops out on funnel? Have you checked if Google really charged you? If they haven't reimbursed you? If traffic from "bad" countries bother you Why dont you just switch off?!
