Weird- Site Title Keeps Changing in SERPS

I'm encountering this strange issue in Google where the title of my site keeps changing depending on what I search, regardless of what my site's actual META title is.

For instance, if I search game servers, my site title appears as "esports game servers."

If I search game server hosting, the new title is "game server hosting."

Both titles are for the homepage of my site. Does anyone know what is up with this? The actual title of my site is eSports Game Servers, and Google used to use this title for my site.

On occasion I have had the title from my DMOZ listing come up in the SERPs. It is not the same as my current title, which I have tweaked to get better keyword coverage.

So that's one possibility — do you have a DMOZ listing with an earlier title that is different from your current title?

I have had the same issue in the past and a different title tag in my DMOZ listing was to blame. The problem now is trying to get the editors to change it!
