Adsense account banned without a clear reason?

My friend has just received a message today without any clear reason, just saying it can be harmful to its advertisers. Anyone got the same reason?

 

Harmful in what way? Fraudulent clicks?

 

So sorry, it is not mine, it is my friend's account, he forwarded that message to me and asked whether he should explain to google or not. Is there any possibility that his account can be reinstated?

 

Chances are small. Especially if it was a new account banned for fraudulent clicks.

 

I do not think so, i knew his blog, just 1-5 clicks/month and he sometimes not visiting his blog for a month as he is so busy, then yesterday he got that email. He said, for about 6 months he got total 20 clicks for about 8.7$

 

you mean that blog has not made a significant profit to Google?

Even i have a tech blog and i didn't received any traffic to for few months but still my account was working . Believe me he must have done something wrong or his friends or family members have done that .

One of my friends started a blog and told his mom that they do get paid few cents whenever some clicks on these ads on his blog . Now what his mom did when he went to school she sent one mail to her husband and than visited her sons blog and started clicking ads and she clicked almost 50 times . In evening she told his son do check your account you must have earned some good amount , but what he found account was banned

Don't tell your friends and relative that you get paid for such things also .

 

Chances are that your blog violated the TOS.

just send a message to the google team stating what happened.....explain them tht u haven't done any fraud.....they may retreive ur account.....

Lesson two! Never tell your friends about ur site with adsense!
Lesson three! Never ever boast to anyone(even when drunk ) about ur site with adsense!

 

I don't see any use in explaining the things to Google. Your friend have little chance to get his account back. These days we have been witnessing lots of publishers banned by Google adsense for no real reason just saying "it can be harmful to its advertisers"
