my new forum i need help please

    hi dp

    i have just started a animal forum and would like to know the best way to advertise it

    i have done a contest to try and get people in but it don't seem to be working

    ok here is what i have done i have done a few article submission, i have subitted the website to search engines i have done a few link exchanges is there anything else that you guys could add to this list that will help me promote this website, i have even brought seo elite to deal with that side of things but still not very much joy......

    i am pulling my hair out at this point so any help would be great

    darkness, i am not advertising my website just asking for help that is all, why are you bashing my thread is it to boost your post point? could that be the reason why you post here... i look forward to hearing from you.

    I can see that you are new and only have 68 post, but this is not the way to boost your point if i was you i would try a next way to gain point ok mate

    Actually I'm pretty sure he was worried about your well being, i'v been hearing that hundreds of softwares and crawlers go through DP forums everyday, they collect any information they can such as websites and emails and uses it against the users

    There are tons of pet lovers. I think you have a very good chance if you could advertise on pet related classified sites/forums/blogs and such.

    here are some quick tips :)

    1. Trade links:

    Trade links with other websites whereby both websites benefit when links are exchanged and this enhances the sites traffic. The more links exchanged with other websites the more traffic can be expected.

    2. Use of Viral Marketing:

    With this method you advertise your website with very little cost if any. You can link your product or company to any media like video, article, blog or a News Release. The media chosen will determine the amount of traffic.

    3. Search Engines:

    Search engines look for certain keyword or phrases to search for sites content. Having the right keyword is a requirement for ranking high in the search engine results. And as visitors look for those keywords that you rank well in then they eventually find your website.

    4. Articles:

    Writing articles will drive traffic and increase on line traffic to your websites.The visitors will follow the link that is placed at the resource box usually at the end of the article.
