I want to buy this domain. Adwords Traffic Estimator says the keywords are between $0.88 - $1.75/click. Its a great website for promoting Ringtone CPA Offers. Its 7 words long, A .com Domain and less than 500 competition for the "Quoted" keyword and between 250k - 300k competition for the nonquoted keyword. The daily search volume is between 2.7k - 3.1k for google and 1.5k+ between Yahoo! and MSN. Is this a good buy?
Well, my hosting company (HostMonster.com) lets you buy domains from them for $10. But I could get it from 1and1.com for 6.99, GoDaddy.com for 9.99, Register.com is offering 1 year free (and then it becomes $35/year), and domain.com offers it for 8.75. But I don't know how to change name servers or anything, so Does it just make sense to buy it from my hosting company for $10, zexy?
Buy hosting from hosting companies. Buy domains from authorized domain registers. I would buy it from GoDaddy or 1and1. Changing the DNS is an easy task, don't worry.
Register it with GoDaddy and you won't have any problems. NameCheap should be a very good choice as well.
Without citing the name I would not suggest because traffic and keywords might be so ephemeral when it comes to Google's dance. It is a dot com and with seven characters sounds good though if its is pronounceable or meaningful to your business or project. BTW, 1&1 is a good option, cheaper than GoDaddy and with no hidden ICANN fees, plus the benefit of free privacy and several free goods through your control panel. I was afraid of this registrart too but after a year I found there are too much lies on those horror stories that people spread... and yes, you can transfer your domain whenever you want and with no strings attached by visiting http://cancel.1and1.com
7 words sounds like it must have a lot of characters in it. Did you mean 7 characters or words? Personally I normally don't buy a domain that is greater than 20 characters. If it is not super long, sounds like it is worth a shot for under $10.00, you cant go wrong.
You could reg this name for only $5.99 @ Name.com & change the nameservers, not hard to do. If you have plans for the name, then go ahead & reg it.
If the domain will provide any value to your business or your pocket in general, you're loosing time discussing this on the forum Get it and come back here asking ideas of development !!
