Clickbank Product Keyword Research

Let's say I've chosen which product to promote, how do you find good keywords for that product....A keyword has to have low competition, but reasonable search volume, isn't? Otherwise there is no point of targeting that keyword.

So how do you find those keywords? I've tried to use Travis Sago's method (www.bummarketingmethod.com). Basically, you write the keyword in quotes ("") in Google, and if there are less than 5000 results for that keyword, it's a good one to target, but didn't have much success.

Use this tool http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/ and enter
2 or 3 words related to what you want to promote and expand from there.
for instance if you were promoting fat loss for idiots you would enter
"lose weight" or "lose fat" and look for long tails from the results.

    I hope this helps

Long tail keywords are good, because they have low competition, but what about search volume? ;)

That's why you are supposed to write at least 5 articles a day if you want to make it with bum marketing. This way the search volume adds up ;)
one you should target is something that has the product name in it like
"product name review" or "product name a scam?" "product name-discover what product name does"

Yep, I target product names. Like, "Product Name", "Product Name Review", "Product Name Scam", "Product Name Bonus" etc.

5 articles a day? :O That's a bit too much I think :D I thought simple blog with product review, and few articles would be enough to dominate a specific keyword....Of course, with the help of social networks, such as Digg and StumbleUpon

if you buy the productnamereview.com and you put a few related articles
on it and you do some backlinks buidling you should be able to rank high.
but if the keywords are not in the domain name, it would be a lot
    harder to rank it

What? 5 articles a day isn't hard at all lol. You could do that in an hour or two. And yes, that COULD be enough to dominate a keyword, but it all depends on competition. If your competition has more and better backlinks than you do, then they will dominate the term and not you.

    Yeah, you've the point here.

It's wasn't too hard to write those articles, that have words length in between 350 to 500 words (It's only takes me about 40 minutes for the 500 words article)

I wish I could write 5 articles a day! The problem (if you want to call it that) is that I put so much into each article with research, proper formatting, keyword optimization, and spending even more time coming up with the title. The most I ever did was 2 in one day.

Currently, I have one blockbuster article that is doing extremely well and I'm getting sales from it, but I have 28 other articles that get maybe 1-5 hits a day and some get zip. That good article is what I'm trying to make all of my articles to be.....and that is a lot of work....hence only pushing out a max of 2 per day.

Nonetheless, bum marketing is so much fun and I can see myself doing this as a living once I build it up.

Yeah it is expensive but I think it's worth it. You will be able to find out how many pages are competing against your keywords in various search and PPC engines. It gives you a Prediction of your keywords in the next few days. Like how many times people are going to look for them in the future.

This program has the ability to help you a lot but I have to admit that SpyFu.com is a good one too.

It's 2 am. I was bored. Yes, this really works.

I made you a video. Sorry for really really sucky audio quality, some words seems to have dissapeared into the abyss. I hope you can make sense of it anyway, lol.
