HI, I have installed FF 3.0 RC1 today and stunned. There is lots of nice improvements like Bookmarks search and one which like is Address bar suggestions and Performance. The speed is stunning. If anyone have experience post it here. Also post your IE 7 experience if you find some nice features in IE 7 but not in FF. http://lifehacker.com/392160/top-10-firefox-3-features http://blogs.zdnet.com/hardware/?p=1887 http://hikrish.blogspot.com/search/label/Firefox
FF3 doesn't support many of extensions, including Google toolbar for FF, that FF 2.x does. Although the add-ons count for IE7 is on the shorter side, it works as better as FF, rather faster. Unless you don't plan to switch away from Windows OS, nothing's better than IE.
FF3 is not yet released. Already some extenstions got updated. from the last week I am using FF3. Realy nice. IE never gave me good browsing experience
I would think FF 2 would also be 10 times faster.... IE is just simply old now.. Although FF takes a lot of memory up, it's the best browser there... I'm not taking a chance with FF3 RC1 right now, I don't want any security leaks or anything into my accounts... I'll wait for the stable version.. Although RC1 could become the stable one from what I've heard.
I have 3 browsers in my system. IE7 , FF3 and Opera Opera is the best one followed by FF. Opera wont crash .It is the fastest among the 3.
Right now am using IE and FF 1.5.. Had downloaded FF2 but then lost it hen my HDD crashed Is it possible to directly upgrade to FF3
Yes..you can do that. now its RC1. Final will be released by this month end. you can download from here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-rc.html
On the contrary retard, anything is better than IE. Also, FF3 is godly fast and uses less memory than any other browser.
May be I'm brand loyal then and doesn't feel good while running FF on Windows But I'd, perhaps, never agree to that something called FireFox uses less memory.
i'm using ff 3 rc1 and can't wait when final version will come out! FF3 is the fastest browser ever imho
