Your preferred and recommended WP Adsense plugin?

Hello everyone, could you please recommend an adsense plugin for wordpress, ive been looking at adsense deluxe and adsense manager, not installed either yet.

If it can insert into posts and whatever else then thats handy, as far as your aware google are ok with these tools? no problems?

Will be glad of your suggestions please.

Also im using 2.5.1, so any problems running any of the adsense plugins on that version please do let me know, thanks.

 

To be honest I prefer to place the AdSense code manually. This way I don't have to worry for some plugin not being supported by the latest WordPress version and things like that. Once you find out what placement / colors work best for you, you're not going to change the code for years to come. Installing too much plugins is not a good idea for the security of the site as well.

 

I think i may consider doing it that way actually, i agree its probably not a good idea to rely on too many plugins.

Do you insert adsense directly into posts? or prefer only in other parts of your blog/site?

 

Only in other parts of your blog/site. I don't like to annoy my visitors too much

 

yupsz, i think u must put ur adsense manually ... u can place ur adsense code in heat map ...
if u want to use plugin ... u can use this ...

Yeah although i often read that adsense can do ok with a block directly in the post, at the same time id hate to put a visitor off for good because adsense was in their face.

I agree do it manually for best results.

 

I would rather earn less in AdSense than annoy my visitors. Your site will become an authority site if it doesn't have too many ads. That means it will attract more links (natural links are the best). Probably the visitors will return as well. So in the long run it's a good strategy in my opinion

 

Absolutely, it makes a lot of sense, and as a long term strategy it sounds good for the site owner and visitors too.

Thanks MeetHere, i remember you recently suggesting the wordpress popular plugin list, i keep forgetting to look there first.

I need to make it my habit to have a quick look there first.

 

There are quite a few doing the same job, including the injection, manager and the deluxe version. I'm all old school though, so simply edited my template files and added adsense there
