Paypal suck.

I got about $100 for an old site I had laying around and I got sent the money, gave the buyer the domain and website files and then Paypal deside to do fucking security checks on my account.

So not only have I lost $100, ive also lost my site. The thing that really pisses me off is that Paypal is only the biggest payment proccessor simply because it is run by eBay, and 90% of eBay transactions are done through it.

If people actually knew what Paypal was really like they would be using much better services like Moneybookers or eGold... not fucking Paypal.

What is wrong with the security checks unless you are unable to fulfil the requirements. You would not lose the money if you did not do anything wrong.

yes paypal now causing pain in the ass.... but its for good because lots of frauds running over paypal these days.... so to protect a buyer paypal take lots of new actions.... also paypal is not really good to sell digital products like website or softwares where you cannot proof of shipping the item to your buyer.... however there are some tricks you can use on paypal to stop losing money or avoid dispute.... but now i guess these tricks will not work anymore since paypal is upgrading there policy to prevent frauds....

about moneybookers, there are some other problems... also moneybookers allow chargeback if paid by a stolen CC.... and its really easy to make a fake claim that the buyer get there CC hacked....=)) and take back the money from your moneybookers... and about egold, its worse there.... egold is famous for deleting account for small reasons..... also if the buyer email egold that you scam him, then your account will be deleted and all your money will be gone in smoke.... so there is risk everywhere....

Buyers may be important at all.

    How about the sellers ?

Especially the sellers of the virtual or electronic products,
eg domains/websites or legal ebooks or print etc!

Fair is good to all, regardless of big or small deal/transactions!

    :)

They were big before eBay started calling the shots. The problem is there are no real competitors to PayPal.

Anyone who has sold a lot of items with PayPal has been burnt, even if it was for small change. They have no dispute resolution, they just refund money to the buyers. This at times amounts to PayPal endorsing and facilitating fraud. Maybe one day a class action lawsuit from sellers will change the way PayPal conducts business, but I doubt it since Govt represents large corps moreso then small businesses.

    Good luck
