Paypal Funds to Icici Bank Not received even after 7 days

Hi ,
I had requested 500USD from paypal to my ICICI Bank in Chennai on May 15th. The transfer got completed the very next day but I have not received the funds till today. The employees at ICICI Bank don't have a clue as to what paypal is and simply dismiss my queries by saying that ICICI Bank does not support Paypal. After reading a few related threads here it seems that ICICI Bank paypal transfers are always late. I'm thinking of switching over to HDFC

 

The date 15 and 16 has some problem. Even I am waiting for the payment.

 

If your transfer is handled by the Singapore Office, Monday May 19th 2008 is a public holiday, Wesak/Vesak Day. That may delay the transfer. Also 17th and 18th are the weekends where they do not work. Give it a few more days.

You will get your money faster if you request for the withdrawal at the beginning of the week and away from the weekends.

 

Have you entered the correct IFSC code? As I generally get my paypal payment to ICICI bank in 2-3 business days...

 

i transfered to ICICI and got within 3-4 days, maybe some delay because of holidays. and check your account details in PayPal.

 

Another thread with ICICI-Paypal transfer problem,may be u wait for 2 more days.Ya HDFC is good option and u will get your funds much faster.

 

i used HDFC.. the same 16th may, still waiting for the money

its not about icici/hdfc.. some problem internationally.. probably citibank issues.

 

dont worry if you have entered all your details right then it will surely come in your bank. nothing to worry about it just have a little patience.

 

I requested withdrawals on 17th and other one on 19th. Both transferred to my ICICI bank account in time.

 

SBI is good option too . Money is transfered within three days normally

My friend's paypal account is still unverified. Waiting for verification code. But, can she withdraw the money to indian bank now while unverified?

Wait for some time and after that if you do no get your payment send PayPal Support an email and wait for their reply. I am sure they can clear everything.

 

Unverified accounts can still withdraw money but there is a limitation to how much you can withdraw per time and/or in total.

If your friend has online banking, he could get the expander use program sooner.
