i was able to access the server elsewhere without any problems.

for some reason, the i can't access it from my home regardless of browser, virus scanner status, firewall status, and reboots.

i may have entered several faulty passwords with a test account i made. rotating half a dozen of passwords can be sometimes confusing.

either that, or the issue with not realizing passwords were case sensitive.
