Aww cmon guys, give Ron a break..

Been reading the past few pages and mostly are flames towards him. I agree with what Mr.Bill said that the slogan "The Proxy Authority" is just a title and not copyrighted in his previous posts here. Anyway wouldn't it be good if one day proxy.biz can deliver quality stuff and mods to the proxy webmasters world? Where's the phrasing "Proxy Webmasters are Allies" that we all use to hear of?

There are just simply tons of proxy users out there.. I dont see why there is a need to see each other as a competitor when as of now there aren't even enough proxies to handle all the proxy users out there. What should be done instead is for proxy webmasters to come together and work against web filters, proxy destroyers etc instead of destroying each other here. Remember, we are all together in this proxy biz and it's all to our mutual benefit. Peace guys..

Good Speech =) Anyways... Out of the thousands of proxy owners every single one can make a profit easily. Stop giving everyone such a hard time.

IMO there are more that enough resources available for proxy webmasters for mods ect. out there. (there is work required to grow a business)

And if anyone thinks that we need to have more competition in this field is not looking at this as a real business. Each time someone launches a site it is a potential loss of revenue for you, plain and simple.

Now having said that, there are those of use that have quality sites that actually "work" and provide access as claimed and provide a unique experience for the users, compared to those that do not put any effort into their sites and spam the hell out of everyone.

    Just my my $.02

    The spam is really bad.
    Look at this http://www.tech-faq.com/proxy-sites.shtml
Once had quality proxies, now filled with crap. litteraly look at the domains getting into there.
For example there is a bunch of sites there like http://mothersday2008.co.cc/ (which is a free domain) then when you hit go, it redirects to http://cgi.embedproxies.com, there all like that. And thats not helping or doing anyone a dman thing if thats blocked.

And there are 2 many directories - to giving people choice is not a bad thing is it?

Jarmas - thanks for the back up but at the moment its just flame for flame sake. which is funny as NOBODY has given any valid reason ( or zero support ) and and only a couple of guys have give any advice - i opened the floor up for what proxy.biz should be used for ( check history of the is thread )

autox - and the domain proxy.biz should be used for.........?? hmm let me think.....ah i know I should make an ebay affiliate site :) - its not going to be a proxy as it will get a ban quickly enough so a resource / top site makes sense. the augument should start with "there are 2 many proxies?, but you wouuld leave yourself open to a backlash.

you can't do nothing against co.cc , the domain is working good for proxies , became very popular and will be more in the future .

Regarding the competition , anyone is trying like mad to get the best , we talk about money this is why things like this happen but....

We are guilty , when someone ask , how to make money easy ? we answer "make a proxy" , i saw many threads like this, every kid , his mom , grandfather or his dog ... will have a proxy in the future .

ConquerBlocks.info is a proxy of mine that doesn't get a lot of views and certainly doesn't get much ad clicks. But today I got lucky :D. Only 1 click, but that click is worth $1,31  .. which might not be that much for a 'normal' website but for a proxy click it's a FORTUNE :D.

You can use the proxy domain for what ever you want, but you can leave the juvenile / smart ass responses to some to your myspace friends. You continue on this way, you will never get any respect from the members here.
You might want to know what your talking about before you write more bullshit posts / responses

ps I am a 39 year old self made ( off line ) businessman not a myspace bulletin seller

Again i ask you as you are very quick to tell me what IT SHOULD NOT BE, try and be constructive and tell me what it should be?

With regards to the total amount of trash proxys out there (You all know the type slow, popups, make user jump through hoops to do anything,blahblah- some of you may even own a few 100 of them)

Maybe what would be good ( ronmac maybe step in here?) would be a place that "approves" proxy's which follow certain guidelines/rules, the end result would be a single website (which would hopefully be more than another proxy.org any one can submit anything style site)

this would list quailty websites which are guaranteed to do X Y and Z (myspace/porn/youtube/non overloaded - fast/etc) and not do A B and C (popups/popunders/fullpage adds/confuse the user into clicking random things/etc).

In the long run a trust relationship is made with the end users, they go here to find decent proxys which will be around tomorrow (blocked or not) and will still do X Y and Z. In turn the proxys in question could (perhaps) link back to the site.

Hopefully in the end, only the guys who are in this for the long run and not to make a quick $3 this month will get listed thus making things better for the ones listed and the users. This should also improve the quality of proxys if other webmasters aim to get onto this list.

Perhaps with a list of quaitly websites a better deal could be made with advertisers because these proxys should end up with better traffic than the average typical current proxy

Please excuse my drunken warped view on these things

Frist, I was not responding to "YOU" directly in my first post on this discussion, but evidentially you took much offense to my opinion and thoughts on the whole discussion. So in turn you decided to respond directly to me with nothing less than a sarcastic BS response. If that was not your intention, then maybe you might want to reread your response.

I think "meep99" just gave you the perfect solution for your site,

Thanks for the advice meep99 - early days for the site - hopefully it will evolve into something decent.

I have a couple of coders working on a bespoke topsite that will list "true" unblockers and also a speed ranking etc.
shadey at sdscripts.com has been helpful in trying to sort us out a temp measure untill something perm has been sorted.

I also got a guy that is finishing up a new proxy script that does a good job in getting round java script sites.
Maybe i should have "promoted" the site when it was completed. still, we live and learn :)

Meep what you suggested are good constructive suggestions. I agree to it. Maybe one day I should reveal how I make passive income from proxies without doing any work aside from the initial promotion. With that said, of all the thousands of proxy webmasters, even if they have access to the get rich proxy tips, only a fraction of these people will truly succeed. That's why we see like 60% of the proxy community not making much out of proxies and tons of them quitting on it. It's called the law of leverage..business students would have come across this term :) I believe only the top 10-15% of the proxy community is making more than $100 a day from proxies.

Navtej, yeah indeed there are lots of guide out there however the web is full of disorganized content. My next goal is to write up an ebook on a unique yet easy way of making money with proxies ;)

I was wondering if it's possible to do SEO on proxy sites? If for certain keywords that are popular.
