It won't matter too much, most of the big time sites are owned in countries where these rules mean nothing.

Chances are this person was involved in what is known as a Topsite, or involved in racing.
These types are very common to go down, as they're physically hosting the files - and in most cases are affiliated with the piracy groups themselves.
Most private Topsite's can host anywhere from 5TB, all the way up to 50TB of data.

Torrents are also a completely different game, as a lot of things go unheard behind closed doors (ie, ThePirateBay's multiple networks).
In cases such as TV-Links, a lot more than linking to torrents was present.

That aside, websites such as warez forums are not in danger.
"phpexpert" needs a smack in the mouth, as he's completely biased, and provides no facts regarding his comments.
As the owner of one of the larger forums, I can safely say no significant threat has been presented to me, apart from numerous small time threats attempting to scare me.
As long as you're hosted in an appropriate way, and keep your identity safe, you're under no threat. ;-)

    What's it to you?
So you can enter my site to complain some more?

If I wished for my site to be known as relating to me, it'd be in my profile and I'd gladly post it; but unfortunately for you, I don't.
