Didn't really know, where to ask this question, in Adwords forum or in Clickbank forum......Ok, anyway it's related to Clickbank, so let's do it here.

    Dear DP members,

I would like to know how does IDEAL Adwords landing page for Clickbank product look like? I know that, it should be a review of the product, but I am more interested in design of the page....How it should look like?

Should I put many pictures from the vendor's page? What about the links? One at the bottom is enough? or I should have some more links? Any other stuff?

Examples of LPs would be great.

    Thanks

What I do is take a look at other CB landing/review style pages in google, yahoo and msn results. Most of the time if you are looking in a popular niche then the ads will be expensive for PPC. So just by looking at there layout you can just about tell that the page converts. It's all about targeted cheap traffic and the content on your website. You can do other things to tweak your site for higher conversions. I will show you one of my landing pages. Sending you a PM

There's no defacto landing page you can use unfortunately. It's all about getting your user to do something (i.e a call to action).

Hit them with your message and then work down with the benefits and WHY THEY NEED IT. Focus your page around them, the benefits of the product to them, how it will help them and what it will do for them.

Structure the page to first capture their attention:

"Want to shred 9lbs every 11 days for the Summer?"

and then work on the product itself, what it will do for them and how they can benefit from it.

"1,000's of customers have already proven that Fat Loss 4 Idiots works. Try it for yourself and discover the easy way to lose 9lbs in 11 days as well as:

    > benefit 1
    > benefit 2
    > benefit 3

I am not worried about the content as much as about the design of the landing page. Does it really matter? I mean, I can create some simple landing page with pictures, etc, but will that be good enough to convert?

The only thing that counts is conversion. Remember that.

So when thinking about a design, you don't have to go to the moon and back. Just think about something that WORKS, is sofisticated but isn't "spammy".

I just make a dark-ish background (the colour of the green title bars on this forum) and then a white table in the middle which will be no wider than 800px. I put a black 1px border to seal the deal.

Just make sure you don't go overboard and you don't go too skimpy on it.

go to http://www.playerswithmoney.com, the program is closed now but he's got a freebie page (some serious stuff here...) and on there he's got a pre-sell template. Alex has had 10% conversions with his templates, and they rank well in the search engines. Luckily I did get in before they closed up again, and the members area is seriously insane...

It has been a good idea to collect the names and email addresses, it gives more value to your invested PPC dollars.

Then you are setting yourself up to fail.

I do this with a few of my niches.

It automatically generates an email list for you to keep selling to and earns you recurring wealth.

I said that, because I am quite confident about my content, but I am not sure about the design ;)
